Maria has been improvising and making people laugh her entire life. She began her studies at the Second City Training Center-Chicago and was cast in the deMaat Showcase original cast of "Homey for the Holidays" while in her first acting class, appearing alongside graduates from the Northwestern and DePaul Universities acting schools, as well as comedy stars Nick Vatterott (Comedy Central, Real Time with Bill Maher) and Colin J. Sweeney (Mission IMPROVable.) Exciting opportunities in film, stage and voiceover followed, leading Maria to perform professionally. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, she continues to love working on camera, stage and mic and is represented by Promote Talent Agency, Chicago. Making you laugh brings her joy (and a paycheck!)
